The past few weeks have made my normally insanely busy life look boring. To sum it up, I’ve ended up with a new puppy (showed up at my door like she thought she belonged and more than two weeks later, after searching, no one’s claimed her so I guess she’s ours). She’s part Pit Bull, part something else (no idea what yet), and one of the sweetest puppies I’ve ever been around. She loves to cuddle and has become my constant companion.
I injured my wrist and have been wearing a brace for two weeks, which makes it hard to type. Luckily, it’s finally getting better. I’ll probably wear my brace during my travels since I’m sure slinging luggage around isn’t the best thing I can do for my wrist right now.
And speaking of travels, I leave in a day and a half for RT and I still have to do most of my packing. I hate packing. And in the past year, I’ve started to detest flying. I look forward to seeing everyone at RT, but the getting there…not so much. My only wish is that Lisa was able to go too. But not this year. She’ll be holding down the fort in So. Cal.
For anyone headed to RT, I’ll be hanging out at the Samhain table in Club RT from 2:30-3:30 on Friday, April 18. I’ll have some of the goodie bags Lisa and I put together–with all the fun stuff in it–to give away to those who come by. So stop by and say hi. I look forward to meeting everyone!
