Lisa and I have been huge, ginormous fans of The Lost Boys since it came out in 1987. In high school we used to recite the movie line by line for our friends, since of course we’d memorized every word. So, knowing that the sequel was premiering at Comic Con, we made it our goal to soak up everything Lost Boys. Here are a few pics of us in front of the Lost Boys trailer, the actual one used in the sequel (it’s Edgar’s house in the movie). This was the WB center of command on the vendor floor. We also included a picture of the surfboard, since surfing plays a big role in the new movie (and ’cause we liked it.)
On Thursday night from about 10pm to sometime after midnight, they premiered The Lost Boys: The Tribe, and then had a panel. I won’t talk about the movie, other than to say my favorite part is the scene they show right after the credit starts to role–and the two alternate endings. For original Lost Boys fans, those scenes are the crowning glory. And the best part of the panel? When they called out their special guest, and it was Jamison Newlander. *swoons* Jamison Newlander plays Alan Frog, who was my favorite character in the original movie. Lisa was an Edgar girl all the way, but something about Alan always made my teenage heart flutter. Actually, I shouldn’t even say the special guest was Jamison Newlander, because both Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander attended the panel as their alter egos, Edgar and Alan Frog, and answered all questions in character. It was a hoot. Here are some of our favorite photos from the panel that night.

OMG! I loved that movie. I had such a crush on Keifer, sigh. I used to be able to do the lines with my friends too. I can’t tell you how many times I saw that movie. Thank you for posting the picks.

Great movie too. Too bad they had to ruin the new movie with the r rated crap…I preferred the kid friendly version.

Katie, we have even more in common. Maybe someday we’ll get together and see how much we can still recite.
Tricia, Jamison/Alan was my favorite too. And he was such a nice guy. He was worth the 21 year wait to meet.

Thanks for sharing the photos! It looks like you had a great time. I live in Texas and Texas Fear Fest 4 is having the Lost Boys as there theme. Hopefully everyone will be there!

I have a huge crush on Corey Feldman and Corey Haim but mostly CF…I still do but he’s married…darn. Thanx 4 posting the pics. There nice.
