Today has been a typical day so far. I got some stuff listed in my Etsy store. Went to log in to write this post and like magic, a weird warning came up.
Someone had hacked the site. Nice.
But I had to get to yoga class.
So I did as much research as I could and discovered the problem wasn’t on my end. After class, I discovered that part of the problem somehow was–through no fault of Jen or myself. I have since completely cleared up the problem (or so it appears as the warning no longer shows up and there’s no weird code anywhere anymore.
If you’d gotten that warning screen (it seemed only to appear in Safari), please accept my apologies. As far as I can tell, the issue is all better now. The site is good, the site is happy, the site never wished to do any harm.
While I’d like to say that I enlisted the help of Jake and the rest of the Shadow Walkers (Jake because he’s the sneakiest!) to hunt down the offending lines of code and obliterate them, alas I did it myself. I guess my damsel-in-distress-appropriateness sensor malfunctioned. I pulled a Twyla and took care of it rather than having the guys rescue me. I should’ve practiced saying “My hero!” and swooning. Ah well.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll get attacked by vampires. The Shadow Walkers can come to my rescue then. …Please?!
